Bank Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist

Bank Occupational Therapist (Band 6) – Hillingdon Hospital

About the Role

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Therapy Team at Hillingdon Hospital, the only acute hospital serving the London Borough of Hillingdon.

We are seeking Bank Occupational Therapists (Band 6) to join our dynamic, integrated inpatient therapy department. If you bring general OT skills applicable across multiple settings—such as stroke rehabilitation, frailty, or acute medical care—or possess expertise in a specialised area, we’d love to hear from you.

Ideally, we’re looking for therapists available for flexible, on-call shifts to cover gaps in the service when required. Given our third-largest staff group within the NHS Trust, Occupational Therapists are respected for their role in assessing, treating, and facilitating effective discharges for patients.

Why Join Us?

  • Observe and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care across multiple therapeutic pathways.
  • Work in a supportive, multidisciplinary team alongside medical, nursing, physio, and social work colleagues.
  • Develop and refine both clinical skills (assessment, intervention, equipment prescription) and non-clinical competencies (team leadership, research, service improvement).
  • Maximise positive patient outcomes by ensuring safe discharges within a compassionate healthcare environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
