Bank Care Assistant

Care Assistant Contract – Etive House Care Home

Located in the beautiful village of Benderloch by Oban, we offer small group living accommodation for up to 62 residents.


Job Details

  • Position: Care Assistant (Contract)
  • Hourly Rate: £12.10 per hour
  • Hours: Contract to bank hours per week
  • Benefits:
    • Paid PVG scheme membership
    • Uniform provided
    • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents every day. This central role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will assist individuals with their daily living needs, including:

  • Personal care
  • Mobility support
  • Nutrition and hydration
  • Emotional and social wellbeing

What We Are Looking For

  • A caring, compassionate and respectful approach

  • Previous experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Desirable: SVQ Level 2 in Healthcare Support Services or commitment to work towards certification
