Bank Care Assistant
Care Assistant Contract – Etive House Care Home
Located in the beautiful village of Benderloch by Oban, we offer small group living accommodation for up to 62 residents.
Job Details
- Position: Care Assistant (Contract)
- Hourly Rate: £12.10 per hour
- Hours: Contract to bank hours per week
- Benefits:
- Paid PVG scheme membership
- Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time contract)
Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents every day. This central role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
You will assist individuals with their daily living needs, including:
- Personal care
- Mobility support
- Nutrition and hydration
- Emotional and social wellbeing

What We Are Looking For
- A caring, compassionate and respectful approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A reliable and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Previous experience is beneficial but not essential
- Desirable: SVQ Level 2 in Healthcare Support Services or commitment to work towards certification
