To qualify for this role, you must meet:
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
- Flexible availability to work a zero-hour contract, with basic shift patterns including:
- 08:00 - 14:00
- 14:00 - 20:00
- 20:00 - 08:00
A Day in the Life of an Agincare Care Assistant
Your role will involve broad yet meaningful responsibilities:
- Companionship: Offering support, conversation, and engagement
- Personal care: Assisting with washing, bathing, showering, dressing, and oral hygiene
- Medication: Prompting, assisting, or administering medication and creams as required
- Meals: Supporting clients with balanced meals, snacks, and beverages
- Domestic tasks: Light cleaning and tidying
- Mobility assistance: Helping clients maintain independence in movement
- Social activities: Trip planning, events, and activities within the home
