As a valued member of our Bank team, you’ll provide critical support to our hospital’s catering service when needed—helping us deliver nutritious meals and outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues. Enjoy the flexibility to choose shifts that suit your schedule while gaining valuable experience in a welcoming and professional environment.
⚠️ Important Note: This role is on a Bank (0-hour) contract. There are no guaranteed hours, and shifts will be offered based on business needs. You can accept or decline shifts per your availability, making this an ideal flexible option—but it may not suit those seeking consistent or full-time hours.

Responsibilities
As a Bank Catering Assistant, you’ll contribute to delivering exceptional care by:
- Preparing and serving meals to patients, visitors, and staff while meeting all dietary needs
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe kitchen environment in line with food hygiene regulations
- Supporting meal services by plating food, restocking supplies, and washing up
- Serving food and refreshments with a warm, friendly, and compassionate approach, ensuring patients feel valued and comfortable
- Accurately recording patient meal choices and intake, escalating any concerns to the clinical team
- Collaborating with colleagues to maintain high standards of service

Requirements
To thrive in this role, we seek applicants who bring:

- A warm, positive attitude with a genuine commitment to helping others
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A basic understanding of food hygiene (training provided if required)
- The flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or healthcare (preferred, but not essential)
