The Role
Shaw Healthcare is seeking dedicated Bank Domestic Assistants to join our team at Wylesfield. Our esteemed home, known for its outstanding reputation, fosters a culture where every resident is cared for with the same respect and quality we’d expect for our own family. You’ll:
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain assigned areas—including furnishings—in alignment with the highest hygiene standards.
- Ensure minimal disruption to service users by maintaining cleanliness in Laundry and habitats.
- Engage warmly and professionally with service users, families, and colleagues.
- Work independently without direct supervision.
- Handle cleaning products with knowledge of COSHH regulations.
- Proactively uphold exceptional cleanliness, living up to our high expectations.
Responsibilities
- Sanitise rooms and associated furnishings efficiently in your designated work area.
- Prioritise discretion and minimal disturbance when carrying out tasks.
- Foster clear communication and positive relationships with service users, families, and team members.
- Operate safely with COSHH-compliant cleaning products.
- Take initiative in maintaining uncompromising hygiene standards.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
