Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker looking for flexibility to choose the shifts you want? If so, Elysium Healthcare has an opportunity for you.
About the Role
Our Bank Healthcare Assistant role is ideal if you’re seeking extra shifts to boost your income or want a flexible job that fits around your lifestyle. After completing a paid two-week induction, you’ll gain access to available shifts at:
- Stanley House, Ledbury (Herefordshire)
- Future potential for regional shifts at other Elysium services
There’s no minimum working hours requirement, but working regularly will help retain your induction knowledge and service familiarity.
You’ll work weekday, night, and weekend shifts, all easily bookable via an app—just a few taps and you’ve secured your preferred shifts!

Where You’ll Work
Stanley House, Bosbury, HR8 1HB
A specialist neurological care home offering:
- Multidisciplinary long-term care with expert therapeutic interventions
- Personalised support from:
- Regular physiotherapy
- Art therapy
- Expert neuropsychiatry consultations
- Monthly specialist GP clinics
Key Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll provide compassionate care to support residents with:
- Personal care (washing, dressing, shaving, continence assistance)
- Nutritional support (helping residents with meals)
- End-of-life care, enabling residents to stay in their familiar surroundings
- Compassionate supervision, with a strong focus on dignity and well-being
Beyond essential care, you’ll help residents engage in rewarding activities:
- Communal outings (wheelchair/assistance, café visits, shops)
- Enjoyment-focused outings (family days, local events, bowling)
- Fun communal activities (bouncy castles, laughter sessions)
This environment fosters cementing connections with residents to improve their lives and provide a meaningful positive impact.
