Bank Healthcare Assistant

Bank Healthcare Assistant | UK Hospitals | Wards | Competitive Hourly Rate

About the Role

Spire Murrayfield is seeking a flexible Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join their Staffing Bank on hospital wards. This ad-hoc role requires candidates comfortable with varied shift patterns.

Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will:

  • Support Clinical and Nursing teams in delivering high-standard patient care
  • Perform core healthcare duties, including routine care tasks to optimise patient well-being
  • After training, move, set up, and operate diagnostic equipment and monitoring technology

Requirements

  • Essential:
    • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
    • Prior HCA experience in a hospital or surgical ward setting
  • Nice to have:
    • Proficiency with MS Office and/or SAP
