Experienced Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker – Rosebank House, Reading
Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker looking for control and flexibility to work shifts that fit your lifestyle?
If you’re an experienced Healthcare Assistant in the UK, you can join our staff bank after successfully completing a paid two-week induction. Once onboard, you’ll have access to available shifts at Rosebank House in Reading, with the potential to work regionally across other Elysium services in the future.
There is no minimum number of hours required, but it’s recommended to work as often as possible to help retain your induction knowledge and service familiarity.

A 24-hour specialist care and support service for individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs, many of whom have been in a hospital setting or were sectioned under the Mental Health Act (1983).

What You Will Be Doing
Joining the team means being part of an organisation that provides care for people with Mental Health conditions. Your role will involve:
- Supporting individuals to live fulfilled, valued lives using your experience (whether as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Worker).
- Care challenges may arise, but these are balanced by positive attitudes, compassion, resilience, and vigilance.

Daily Operations:
- A 24/7 service with standard shifts of 12.5 hours.
- Zero-hour contract, allowing you to select shifts as they become available each week.
