Bank Hotel Services Assistant – Springfield Hospital, Essex

Location: Springfield Hospital, Essex Hours: Flexible Zero-Hour Contract | Evening and weekend shifts available


The Role

An exciting opportunity has arose for a Bank Hotel Services Assistant to support our team at Springfield Hospital. The ideal candidate will cover roles across Housekeeping and Catering, ensuring exceptional cleaning standards across all hospital areas—including patient rooms—and the delivery of food and beverage services. Key responsibilities also include assisting with maintaining the hospital’s overall cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Where You’ll Be Based

Springfield Hospital was established in 1987 and is a leading private hospital in Essex, featuring:

  • 64 beds, all with ensuite facilities (including three two-bedded parent-and-child rooms and a high-dependency unit with three beds)
  • Six operating theatres
  • A physiotherapy department
  • On-site private GP services

Our facilities are designed to deliver high-quality care to all patients.


Essential Requirements

You will bring:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or food service
  • Experience within a hospital environment (preferred but not mandatory)
  • A methodical, vigilant approach with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with initiative
  • Understanding of health and safety in a hospital setting
