Bank Hotel Services Assistant – Springfield Hospital
Location: Springfield Hospital Hours: Flexible, zero-hour contract – evening and weekend shifts available
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Hotel Services Assistant to join our fantastic team at Springfield Hospital.
The successful candidate will work across the Housekeeping and Catering departments and will be responsible for:
- Cleaning all general hospital areas, including patient rooms
- Serving food and beverages
- Assisting with maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hospital

A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement. You are not committed to set hours but instead work on ad-hoc shifts as required by the hospital:

Where You’ll Be Based
Springfield Hospital, opened in 1987, is one of Essex’s leading private hospitals:
- 64 fully ensuite beds (including three parent-and-child rooms and a three-bed high-dependency unit)
- Six operating theatres
- Physiotherapy department
- On-site private GP services
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in housekeeping or food service duties (required)
- Experience within a hospital environment (desirable)
- Methodical and vigilant personality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and on your own initiative
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards are maintained
