Imaging Administrator – Spire Parkway Hospital (Solihull) – Ad-Hoc Shifts by Bank
We are seeking an Administrator to join our team on an on-call (bank) ad-hoc basis, supporting staffing at Spire Parkway Hospital during busy periods, annual leave, or absence cover.
As a bank staff member, this role is structured as "work as and when required" rather than a fixed weekly contract. Your availability dictates your working hours, aligning with business expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Providing customer service to patients, consultants, GPs, and hospital staff, ensuring exceptional administrative support that meets (and exceeds) expectations.
- Maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of work.
- Delivering timely, courteous communication to patients, consulting departments, and relevant teams.
- Operating efficiently within hospital IT programs (including potential experience on SAP or similar patient-booking systems) while adhering to policies and procedures.
- Ensuring seamless imaging administration across our departments.

To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Successfully completed GCSEs in English and Mathematics.
- Preferences: Experience in a related healthcare-facing role is desirable but not mandatory.
- Skills:
- Familiarity with medical language is useful but not essential.
- Basic proficiency with computers (keyboard skills) and IT systems.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a collaborative team.
