Spire Fylde Coast Hospital has an exciting opportunity for experienced Physiotherapists to join our friendly and supportive team on a bank contract. We are looking for physiotherapists who have experience either working in an outpatient or inpatient setting, treating orthopaedic patients and various musculoskeletal disorders. This is a great chance to work within a leading private hospital, delivering high quality care to a wide range of patients. This position is ideal for individuals who have experience of working in orthopaedics.
Inpatient
Duties And Responsibilities
The clinical aspects of this role include working as a part of the Inpatient Physiotherapy Team with post-operative patients in order to prepare them for discharge home.
- To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within the inpatient and outpatient department.
- To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
- To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and caseload management.
- Significant experience in physiotherapy delivery and working as a multidisciplinary team.

Duties And Responsibilities:
The clinical aspects of this role include working as a part of the Outpatient Physiotherapy team to provide skilled assessment, diagnosis and treatment to a variety of patients in the out-patient service including post-operative and musculoskeletal disorders.
- To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within the outpatient department. This will primarily involve post-operative patients and musculoskeletal injuries.
- To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
- Develop individualised, goal-oriented treatment plans.
- Develop knowledge and practice in own area of work.
- Deliver hands-on therapy including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and electrotherapy where appropriate.
- Provide education on injury prevention, ergonomics, and self-management strategies.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records.
- Ensure adherence to professional standards, clinical guidelines, and health & safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers, as well as other team members.
Who We're Looking For
- Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
- Be HCPC registered - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions.
- Post graduate clinical experience within a clinical environment (NHS or Private Hospital).
- Experience of working in Orthopaedics in an outpatient setting.
- Experience of treating a wide variety of Musculoskeletal disorders.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills are key to continue our high standards of patient care.
- Availability for weekday working in Physiotherapy Outpatient clinic including day and evening working.
- Potential for weekend working.
