Bank Kitchen Assistant

WORK WITH US: Kitchen Assistant (Home Carer) – Kingfisher House Care Home

About Our Home

Kingfisher House Care Home is a warm and welcoming nursing home, offering a spacious and comfortable environment with 24-hour care and support for older adults.

Responsibilities

  • Assist, as directed, with the preparation of produce for mealtimes, including:
    • Cooking breakfast items
    • Preparing vegetables
    • Making sandwiches

  • Ensure all kitchen equipment and areas are cleaned according to cleaning schedules.

  • Adhere strictly to statutory and company health and safety regulations.

  • Correctly store dry and perishable goods (cook-chill), ensuring they are processed and secured upon receipt and checked immediately.

  • Safely store cleaning materials according to guidelines.

  • Thoroughly clean all crockery, cutlery, and drinking vessels for residents using the main kitchen dishwashing machine.
