Mental Health Support Worker – Cherrybrook Care Home (Bradford)
Cherrybrook Care Home is a large, purpose-built service in Bradford, specialising in providing specialist care across two units for 120 residents with complex mental health needs, dementia, and challenging behaviours. Our environment delivers high-quality, clinically led care through a structured and supportive framework, combining nursing expertise with a strong focus on dignity, stability, and person-centred support.
Contract Details
- Salary: £12.71 per hour
- Contract type: Bank & permanent available
- Shifts: Day and night

Role Overview
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll contribute to a specialist care environment by providing high-calibre, person-centred support for individuals with complex mental health conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and valued
- Promoting emotional wellbeing, independence, and stability
- Assisting daily routines and personal care, if required
- Engaging residents in meaningful activities and emotional support
- Safely and consistently following support plans
- Building positive relationships with residents
- Recognising changes in behaviour or mental wellbeing and responding effectively
A key part of your role is maintaining a calm, supportive, and therapeutic environment for all.
