Salary: £22.55 per hour Working Hours: Bank Contract – As/When

We invite a Nurse to join our team at Cartref Cleddau, Pembrokeshire.
About the Service
Cartref Cleddau is a 24-bed specialist facility for adults with long-term functional mental health issues and complex physical needs in beautiful Pembrokeshire, South West Wales.

About the Role – Nurse
You will work alongside a team dedicated to making a real difference to the lives of those we support. Your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the highest standards of care, assessing residents’ needs and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
- Championing independence and personal choice, developing, reviewing, and updating care plans for physical, social, and psychological needs.
- Managing medicines administration in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
- Representing Shawcare professionally to visitors and external stakeholders.
- Upholding legal, regulatory, and best practice standards, identifying and resolving risks proactively.
- Supporting, guiding, teaching, and mentoring others in line with the NMC Code.

Preferred Skills & Experience
While not mandatory, we would value:
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to analyse problems and propose improvements.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building with all stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using IT and care management systems.
- Respect and sensitivity to diverse needs, views, and values.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
- Experience in mental health nursing care.
- Familiarity with quality and clinical governance programmes.
