Salary: £24.32 per hour
Hours: Bank - Zero hours
Shift Times: As/when needed in the service, 12hr shifts (07:45-20:15 or 20:00-08:00)
About the Role
Shaw Healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Bank Nurse who is ready to make a positive impact at Hillside Lodge, a modern purpose-designed 60-bed care home situated in the beautiful West Sussex village of Pulborough. Hillside Lodge offers a range of services to support residents' physical, emotional, and social needs, including 24-hour nursing care.

Job Responsibilities
- Assessing patients' health and care needs and developing care plans
- Administering medication and monitoring service users' response
- Providing nursing care, including wound care and palliative care
- Liaising with other healthcare professionals to coordinate personalized care
- Supporting service users with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Providing emotional support to service users and their families
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Working within the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines to ensure high standards of care
- Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Participating in the induction and ongoing training of new staff members

Qualifications And Experience
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Experience working in elderly care, including caring for patients with Alzheimer's and other dementia-related conditions
- Knowledge of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative
- Commitment to continuing professional development
