FitzRoy is a national charity transforming the lives of people with learning disabilities and autism. We provide nursing care that you may not have encountered before. Many of the individuals we support have complex health needs and have previously experienced breakdowns in community placements. As a bespoke nursing care home, The Pastures gives us the space and time to stabilise and manage their health needs, preparing them to embrace opportunities and lead fulfilling lives.

Job Opportunity – Bank Role

  • Days or nights shifts – Flexible hours
  • Salary: £38,129.84 (Full-time equivalent)
    • 10% weekend enhancement
    • Overtime paid at £2.50 per hour
    • £25 Emergency Payment

Key Responsibilities

As a Learning Disabilities Nurse, you will handle a mixture of clinical interventions, including injections and peg feeds, whilst also managing rare and complex health conditions. This role offers plenty of opportunities to learn, develop, and deliver clinical excellence while working in a supportive environment.

The Pastures in Hales

  • A flagship FitzRoy nursing service for 13 adults of varying ages and complexities.
  • Spread across three bungalows, allowing residents to live with like-minded individuals with shared interests.
  • Focused on enabling individuals to live life to the fullest, ensuring their passions and dreams are realised.

Working with Families

Families are ** Rijkly involved** with close collaboration, fostering a warm, creative, and collaborative atmosphere. Your role will be vital in ensuring the people we support can overcome health-related barriers and fully participate in life.
