Need flexible hours with no commitment to set shifts? Would you like to earn an extra income alongside your permanent job? Want to work for an award-winning organisation in a pristine kitchen? We’re looking for talented chefs to join us on a 0-hour contract – and there are no weekends!
You’ll provide varied, nutritious food for children aged 6 months to 5 years, leading the kitchen and taking ownership of day-to-day kitchen management in the absence of the Nursery Chef. You’ll be called in advance when the need arises for at least two locations you’re interested in, giving you the flexibility to choose shifts that fit around your commitments.

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Able to commute to at least 2 of our 6 nurseries.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or school setting (highly desirable).
- Good cooking skills.
- A clear DBS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good timekeeping and organisational skills.
- An enthusiastic, flexible, can-do attitude.
