Bank Nursery Practitioner
Join Our Team as a Bank Nursery Practitioner!
Are you passionate about creating brighter futures for children? At Rubery, we’re looking for a Bank Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, and let’s make a difference together!
To be considered for this role you must have previous experience working in childcare. No qualifications required, a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification would be desirable but not essential.
Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
Pay: £12.71 - £13.21 per hour depending on experience *plus accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Monday to Friday. Zero hour contract - this gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs.
Location: Ashbrook Drive, Rednal, Rubery, Birmingham, West Midlands, B45 9FP

About Our Nursery
My First Friends Rubery nursery prides itself on its large spaces and stimulating environment and beautiful outdoor space. Rubery is situated on Park Way, on Great Park opposite Brewers Fayre and Nuffield Health. Entry to the nursery is off Ashbrook Drive and there is ample parking available.
What Your Role Involves
As a valued member of our team, you’ll:
Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework. Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents. Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
