Job Advert: Bank Catering Assistant Ward Pantry

Location: Pinehill Hospital - Hitchin

Hours: Between the times of 7am - 8pm, including weekends and bank holidays (when required).

The Role

Reporting to the Catering Supervisor, you will provide a high standard of catering service, as part of the support services team. Experience is not essential, as we will provide all training necessary for the position although it will benefit you if you have worked previously in a fast-paced environment to high standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high standard of catering service, including managing dietary requirements.
  • Washing of cutlery.
  • Replenishing hot drinks machines.
  • Explaining the daily menus across all meals.
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in a hygienic and methodical manner.
  • Daily cleaning of all areas of the catering department to the agreed standard.
  • Ensuring adherence to current health and hygiene regulations in the preparation and service of all foodstuffs.
  • Working positively with a team to achieve team goals and excellence in service delivery.
