Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Anaesthetic Practitioner to join their specialised team in a bank position. This exciting opportunity allows you to be part of one of the UK’s leading private hospitals, advancing your career in a supportive and hardworking environment.
About the Role
The Anaesthetic Practitioner will develop skills and enhance specialist knowledge to support anaesthetic practice across a multi-specialty environment, potentially involving general, regional, and local anaesthetic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating theatres/anaesthetic rooms for surgery, ensuring appropriate instrumentation, equipment, and supplies minimise waste
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Perform anaesthetic duties as required

- Proven experience working within anaesthetic practice
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong dedication to delivering exemplary perioperative patient care and organising operating theatre operations
- Experience supporting procedures across disciplines such as:
- General Surgery
- Orthopaedic
- ENT
- Plastics
- Ophthalmic
- Desirables (though not essential):
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Airway Maintenance certification
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM – 8:30 PM
