Please note this is not a Bath & North East Somerset Council Vacancy.

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our bank team as Personal Assistants (previously known as Support Workers).

You will be supporting a young autistic man living in Radstock on a 1:1 basis. Your support will enable the individual to access a wide variety of activities, such as swimming, disco, sensory therapies, and some work experience. The young man has his own Motability car, so a driver with a clean driving licence is preferable.

You will need to be caring and positive, supportive, calm, and tolerant, as the person is autistic, therefore empathy and understanding is essential. You will be working as part of a knowledgeable team of PAs and be supported by our manager. It is our aim for you to be well trained, so previous experience is not essential.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
