Job Description
Physiologist/Spire Nottingham/Tollerton/Bank/Ad-Hoc Shifts
Spire Nottingham Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Physiologist to join the Bank team.
Duties And Responsibilities
To perform cardiological investigations which are complex and non-routine. To participate in all catheter lab procedures in Spire Nottingham including Angiography, EPS, CRM and Structural.To assist in the day to day running of the cardiology department, and also take responsibility for the department in the absence of the HoD.

Lead others in the development of knowledge and work practices Apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment Plan, monitor and quality assure the application of technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
Who We're Looking For
Qualifications and Training
Degree in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent. RCCP Registration Immediate Life Support Qualification Experience in all angiography procedures with specialist clinical expertise in the area of Pacemaker therapy and Electrophysiology IBHRE Accreditation Supervisory/Management qualification Advanced Life Support Qualification Evidence of continual professional development in relevant short courses

Essential Experience
Analysing staff and department management problems and coming up with viable solutions Working as a practitioner in and across multi-disciplinary teams Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes Challenging consultants to influence evidence-based practice Share evidence based practices with colleagues to enhance service and standards Experience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solution for the service
