Bank Receptionist | Reception | Spire St Anthony’s Hospital – Sutton

Role: Flexible Bank Receptionist/Administrator at Spire St Anthony’s Hospital, Sutton.


About the Role

Spire St Anthony’s Hospital, founded in 1904, is seeking an experienced Bank Receptionist to support their team. This position offers flexible working to cover sickness, annual leave, and busy periods.

Our £27m development investment ensures we deliver high-quality private healthcare in Sutton, Epsom, Surrey, and South London.


Responsibilities

  • Welcoming & registering patients, including accurate collection of credit card details and patient information
  • Directing patients, consultants, and hospital teams professionally and warmly to boost confidence
  • Ensuring NHS compliance with forms and processes
  • Processing in-patient/out-patient charges
  • Adhering to cash handling policies
  • Entering discharge administration into computer systems with 100% accuracy
  • Managing the hospital switchboard efficiently, responding to enquiries promptly
  • Clerical duties, including:
    • Checking bed status reports
    • Distributing newspapers for patients
    • Issuing visitor badges
    • Arranging taxi bookings

Who We’re Looking For

  • A personable individual who works independently and collaboratively
  • Stronger PC skills required: proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Outstanding customer service experience
  • Exceptional administrative accuracy
  • Clear and effective communication skills at all levels
  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles highly valued
  • Knowledge of information management systems
  • Switchboard experience advantageous
