Do you want to make a real difference every day at work?
Are you the right person for our Inpatient Unit team?
We are looking for someone to join the bank for our Inpatient Unit to deliver complex symptom management and end of life care to our patients. You will also offer emotional and psychological support to our patients and also their loved ones. Working as part of our multi-disciplinary team you would be responsible for planning and managing care for patients within our unit.
We don’t pretend this is an easy job, but it is incredibly rewarding. You will have support from within your team to help deal with the difficult times. On the positive side you will finish every shift knowing that you have made a huge difference to every patient that you have cared for.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
