About the Role
The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care, working collaboratively and cooperatively with other healthcare professionals to meet the needs of patients and their families.
They will also assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area while participating in the education, development, and supervision of other staff members.

We are currently recruiting Registered Nurses to join our Nurse Bank across District and Community Hospitals in North Wales.

Main Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care
- Collaborate with patients, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic support
- Contribute to the management and organisation of clinical areas
- Involvement in staff education, training, and supervision

Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- NMC-registered nurse
- Evidence of pre-registration experience in direct nursing care
Desirable Criteria
- Post-registration study, training, or certification, such as:
- POVA (post-operative care)
- Child Protection training
- Immediate Life Support (ILS) (if applicable to the clinical setting)
Experience
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in providing holistic nursing care
- Desire to develop nursing skills
Desirable Criteria
- Clear understanding of clinical governance frameworks
- Ability to implement evidence-based practice
Skills & Competencies
Essential Criteria
- Understanding of contract of care principles
- Ability to document care details clearly and accurately
- Understanding of the consent process
- Basic IT skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Capacity to work under pressure
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of incident reporting policy
- Welsh-language proficiency (advantageous)
