Staff Nurse - Surgical Ward

Norwich | Bank / Ad hoc shifts | Competitive rates plus excellent benefits | Days and Nights available

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse for our Staffing Bank based on the wards at Spire Norwich Hospital. This role would suit candidates who are looking for a work/life balance and are very flexible.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
  • Assist in the delivery of care to meet the individuals’ health and wellbeing needs.
  • Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
  • Promote best practice in health and safety and security.

Who We're Looking For

  • You will be a Registered Nurse.
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Experience of working in an acute environment.
  • Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration.
  • A surgical background is essential and to be competent in dealing with post-op patients.
  • Candidates with orthopaedic ward experience are strongly preferred.

Working Hours

We operate a 24/7 ward and offer both days and night shifts.
