Are you a skilled and motivated pharmacist looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle? We are seeking enthusiastic Bank Band 7 Pharmacists to join our clinical pharmacy team and support safe, high-quality patient care across our hospital services. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced pharmacists who want variety, autonomy, and the chance to work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment—without the commitment of a permanent rota.
The Role
As a Bank Band 7 Pharmacist, you will provide essential clinical pharmacy cover to meet service demands. You will work flexibly across inpatient areas, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines.
What the role entails:
- Delivery of clinical pharmacy services to designated wards
- Carrying out medicines reconciliation and clinical screening
- Optimising therapy in collaboration with medical and nursing teams
- Supporting safe discharge planning
- Providing expert advice on medicines management
- Contributing to antimicrobial stewardship and high-risk medicine monitoring
- Offering guidance and support to junior staff when needed
