Bank Cath Lab Radiographer | Competitive Hourly Rate | Flexible Working | Leeds – LS8
Spire Leeds Hospital are looking for a Cath Lab Radiographer to join their bank.
This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, to cover for existing staff in times of annual leave /sickness, busy periods of the year and for future expansion of the service.
Spire Leeds Hospital, located in Roundhay, Leeds, has been treating patients for almost 30 years. We are the region’s largest private hospital in terms of the range of services we offer and the number of consultants we work with. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days per week.
Duties and responsibilities;
- To be part of a team delivering high quality, efficient radiographic service. To provide highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients, to make informed decisions on the diagnostic imaging required and to demonstrate a professional, caring and responsible approach to the duties carried out
- To ensure the team delivers effective imaging by providing appropriate clinical leadership, educational and development expertise.
- To be responsible for the standard of own imaging work
- To ensure that Clinical Governance and risk management are embedded within daily practice.
- To work as part of a multidisciplinary team with the nurses, ODP and cardiologists.

Who we're looking for
- Diploma or Degree in Radiography
- HCPC Registration
- Experience in cardiac cath lab
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work in a challenging environment while maintaining safe standards.
- Flexible to be able to work on an adhoc basis ideally 1-2 shift a month
- ILS trained individuals
- Experience in PCI and EP
