About the Role
As a Bank Staff Nurse specialising in Pre-Operative Assessment at our Warwickshire Nuffield Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. This role is flexible, offering on-call availability to support the hospital’s operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pre-operative assessments tailored to each patient’s needs
- Work closely within a consultant-led team, guided by the matron of the ward
- Demonstrate strong communication, flexibility, and teamwork in delivering patient-centred care
- Attention to detail is critical to ensure accurate and comprehensive assessments
- Collaborate with specialists across orthopaedics, spinal surgery, oncology, diagnostic imaging, and general surgery departments
- Work with state-of-the-art equipment and modern facilities
- Foster a supportive and collaborative environment among practitioners

Requirements
- Registered Nurse status with the NMC (or equivalent governing body)
- Post-registration experience in nursing
- Compassionate, resilient, and thinking professional with strong multitasking skills
- Ability to work on-call on an ad-hoc, flexible basis
