Support Worker – Serenita Care Home
Location: Weston-super-Mare, near seafront
About Serenita Care Home
Serenita Care Home is a well-established service set within a characterful Victorian residence in Weston-super-Mare. Supporting up to 34 residents, the home offers specialist care for individuals with mental health conditions, including alcohol-related brain damage and Korsakoff’s syndrome. The environment is structured, supportive, and focused on fostering independence.
Role Overview
As a Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred support in a specialist complex care setting, working with residents who have complex physical and mental health needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with daily routines, such as personal care, mobility, and mealtimes, while encouraging independence, safety, and dignity.
- Adapting sensitively to changing needs and contributing to a calm, stable, and supportive environment.
- Collaborating with the wider care team to follow individual care plans, uphold structured routines, and maintain a consistent and well-organised setting.
- Building positive relationships with residents to promote wellbeing and confidence.

Contract Details
- Rate: £12.71 per hour
- Contract type: Flexible Bank
- Benefits:

- 5.6 weeks’ annual leave (pro-rated for part-time roles)
