Bank Support Worker
Bank Support Worker – Cygnet Paddocks, Widnes

We are looking for outstanding Bank Support Workers with a passion for delivering excellent care.
About Cygnet Paddocks
Cygnet Paddocks is our all-male specialist neuropsychiatric hospital located in Widnes, North West.
The service provides:
- A dedicated care pathway for men affected by:
- Acquired Brain Injury
- Neurological conditions
- Where behaviours that challenge are the core impairment to recovery and rehabilitation.
Trial Focus
- Level 1 Neuropsychiatric Rehabilitation Pathway for Adult Males
- Individually designed wards supporting:
- Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
- Treatments tailored for recovery and rehabilitation
What we offer…
You’ll be part of a supportive, specialist team working flexible shifts around the clock:
- Shift patterns: 8am – 8.30pm & 8pm – 8.30am

Your Responsibilities
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach
- Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
- Understand service users’ individual needs and provide tailored assistance
- Assist with medical & welfare needs
- Report medical & welfare needs as required
- Ensure enhanced safeguarding measures
- Maintain safe, clean environments for service users & staff

About You
We’re looking for:
- A genuine desire to make a real difference in people’s lives
- 2+ years in a similar setting (mental health/care background preferred)
- Strong communication & collaborative attitude
- Empathy, intuition & energy to support a trusting, vibrant environment
- A commitment to empowerment & supporting service user independence
Note: All successful candidates must pass an enhanced DBS check.
