About the Role
Leaders are needed to work in children’s homes that create a positive, lasting difference in children’s lives. This role is ideal for:
- Experienced Residential Workers or Youth Workers
- Aspiring professionals with no prior experience, looking to build a career in residential care

Ideal Candidate Profile
| Must meet the following criteria: |

| - Aged 22 years or above (in alignment with Ofsted regulations) |
| - Caring, compassionate, and skilled in building positive relationships |
| - In possession of a valid manual driving licence |
| - Capable of remaining calm in challenging situations |

Responsibilities
As a Bank Support Worker with Compass Community, you’ll construct a compassionate care framework for vulnerable young lives by:
- Accusing and integrating children as they are, in non-judgmental ways
- Teaching self-acceptance and building self-esteem
- Guiding young people through their journey into adulthood
You will:
- Foster trust through consistent, supportive interactions with children and young people
- Act as a safe, supportive adult figure who meets their needs and ensures their safeguarding
- Work with children displaying challenging behaviours and varying support needs
- Provide holistic care and supervision in activities, education, and social pursuits
- Develop daily timetables, set boundaries and expectations to ensure structure and stability
