Support Worker – Bank Basis (South Street Residential Home, Sheringham, Norfolk)

At Prime Life, we are looking for passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as a Support Worker, on a bank basis. We currently have several vacancies available and welcome candidates for interviews at the earliest opportunity.
About the Role
This role is based at South Street Residential Home in Sheringham, Norfolk, serving 20 residents who experience:
- Learning disabilities
- Physical disabilities
- Mental health conditions, including those with challenging behaviours
All residents require dignified, compassionate, and tailored support. Candidates must demonstrate:
- Patience and understanding
- Respect for individual abilities
- A genuine desire to enhance residents’ well-being

Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will contribute to:
- Providing respectful and dignified care to meet residents' needs
- Maximising residents’ quality of life through personalised support
- Offering companionship, emotional, and practical assistance
- Supporting residents in decision-making regarding daily routines
- Assisting with:
- Personal care and hygiene
- Recreational and daily activities
- Outside excursions
- Encouraging independence, particularly in areas such as food preparation and mealtime routines
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans

Requirements
