Bank Support Worker at Llys Hafren

Support Worker – Llys Hafren Care Home – Welshpool

Location: Llys Hafren Care Home, Severn Rd, Welshpool, SY21 7AR

Salary: £13.67 per hour

Contract: As/When Needed in Service (Flexible Hours)

Shift Times: Days (06:45–21:15) | Nights (21:00–07:00)

Support Worker – Key Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in facilitating compassionate, person-centred care. Your responsibilities include:

  • Implementing individualised care plans to meet each service user’s needs
  • Assisting with daily living activities, including personal care (bathing, dressing, hygiene)
  • Accurately documenting care activities (fluid/food intake, incidents, daily observations)
  • Promoting dignity, independence, and inclusion for all service users
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, ensuring a safe, supportive environment
