Support Worker – Wood House

Hours

Bank 0 Hour Contract – Available as/when needed, based on service requirements

Shift Times

  • 07:45 – 20:15
  • 20:00 – 08:00

Shaw Healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring person ready to make a positive impact at Wood House.

Wood House, Southmead, Bristol, offers eight self-contained apartments and eight ensuite bedrooms, along with spacious communal areas, designed to meet the needs of individuals with complex care requirements.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, your role is vital in promoting physical and emotional support to service users. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing person-centred care in line with individual care plans
  • Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene
  • Accurately documenting care activities, including fluid/food intake, incidents, and activities
  • Ensuring dignity, choice, and inclusion for service users
  • Collaborating with a team and supporting colleagues in daily duties
  • Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
