Prime Life is seeking passionate and dedicated care professionals to join their friendly team as a Support Worker on a bank basis. There are multiple vacancies available, and they are eager to meet with suitable candidates as soon as possible for interviews.


About the Role

This Support Worker position will be based at Cherry Tree Lodge, located in Lincoln. The home offers specialised support to 18 residents who live with a range of learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Dignified, respectful, and patient care is essential in this role to meet each resident's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties Include:

  • Providing respectful and dignified support to residents
  • Encouraging residents to live their highest possible quality of life
  • Offering emotional and practical companionship to improve well-being
  • Involving residents in decision-making regarding their daily living
  • Assisting with daily activities, such as:
    • Personal care
    • Recreational activities
    • Escorting residents outside the home
  • Promoting independence in meal preparation and eating
  • Collaborating with professionals to develop individual care and development plans

Requirements & Skills

Candidates must demonstrate: ✔ A genuine caring nature and a passion for making a real difference in residents' lives ✔ Patience, understanding, and respectfulness, essential for supporting diverse needs

  • Preferred but not essential: Prior experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant
  • Training is provided for new employees
