Key Responsibilities
As a Bank Support Worker, your role will include:
- Managing day-to-day support for individuals, including daily routines, personal care, and essential living tasks.
- Encouraging independence and self-reliance in all areas of life.
- Supporting skill development through hobbies, interests, and life-skill learning (e.g., budgeting, bill payments, shopping).
- Assisting with healthcare needs, including:
- Accompanying individuals to medical appointments.
- Administering medication as required.
- Providing personal care assistance (toileting, dressing, etc.).
- Helping with domestic tasks such as:
- Cooking meals.
- Cleaning and maintaining living spaces.
- Offering emotional and physical support to boost confidence and resilience.
