Bank Support Worker – Cornwall Supported Living (Redruth, Cornwall)

JOB ROLE: Bank Support Worker LOCATION: Redruth, Cornwall (TR15)

HRIGHTS: Fixed shift basis (additional details not specified in job posting) SALARY: £13.45 – £14.05 hour (pay scale depends on qualifications/experience)

Key Responsibilities

As a Bank Support Worker, your role will include:

  • Managing day-to-day support for individuals, including daily routines, personal care, and essential living tasks.
  • Encouraging independence and self-reliance in all areas of life.
  • Supporting skill development through hobbies, interests, and life-skill learning (e.g., budgeting, bill payments, shopping).
  • Assisting with healthcare needs, including:
    • Accompanying individuals to medical appointments.
    • Administering medication as required.
  • Providing personal care assistance (toileting, dressing, etc.).
  • Helping with domestic tasks such as:
    • Cooking meals.
    • Cleaning and maintaining living spaces.
  • Offering emotional and physical support to boost confidence and resilience.
