About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bank Support Worker to join our team at Silver Street Respite Service, based in Barnsley, S75 3NP.
Salary: £13.12 per hour Hours: Bank

Responsibilities
As a Bank Support Worker, you’ll provide exceptional care and unwavering support to service users—including individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, and behaviour that challenges.
Key tasks include:
- Supporting with personal care
- Administering medication where necessary
- Assisting with domestic tasks and daily living activities
- Tailoring your approach to individual needs for a highly responsive, personalised care experience
- Working with courage to address challenges in a supportive manner
- Fostering a warm, inclusive environment where service users feel seen and valued

- No prior qualifications are required—we offer on-the-job training and opportunities to pursue professional development (e.g., Level 2-6 qualifications in Health and Social Care).
