The Lodge
A charming detached home in Langport, South Somerset, set beside Immacolata House and surrounded by the Somerset Levels countryside. The service provides dedicated support for individuals with learning disabilities in a calm, community-focused environment.
Support Worker Contract
- £12.71 per hour
- Flexible zero-hour contract
- Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
Role Overview
As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs.
- Support residents with daily routines, including personal care, mobility, and mealtimes
- Help maintain independence while ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
- Respond sensitively to changing needs, contributing to a calm, stable, and supportive environment
- Work closely with the wider team, following individual care plans, supporting structured routines, and helping maintain a consistent and well-organized setting
- Build positive relationships with residents, contributing to a safe and supportive environment that promotes wellbeing and confidence
