Support Worker (Bank Basis) – Prime Life

Prime Life are seeking passionate and dedicated care professionals to join their friendly team as a Support Worker, available on a bank basis. Several vacancies are currently available, and early interviews are encouraged.
About the Role
This role is based at The Fieldings Residential Home in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. This specialised home supports 47 residents with a range of physical disabilities and mental health conditions, requiring compassionate, dignified care. Success in this role demands patience, understanding, and respect for each resident’s individual abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing respectful and dignified support to residents
- Encouraging residents to achieve their highest possible quality of life
- Offering companionship, emotional, and practical support
- Assisting residents in daily living decisions, including personal care, recreational activities, and outings
- Promoting independence in meal preparation and daily routines
- Collaborating with other professionals to develop and implement individualised care and development plans

Requirements
- A genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference in residents’ lives
- Full training provided—prior experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is desirable but not essential
- Essential patience, empathy, and respect for residents with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, or physical disabilities
