Bank Youth Support Worker

Bank Youth Support Worker Hours: Casual, as and when required | Location: Site-based


About the Role

Are you passionate, empathetic, and eager to make a difference in young people’s lives? If you are, then we’re scouting for a Bank Youth Support Worker who will provide invaluable support to young people aged 8–19 years old within our dynamic youth work programme.

You’ll contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging environment at RPT Youth Club, bolstering wellbeing, strengthening practical and emotional skills, and fostering positive connections. Working as part of our motivated team of youth professionals, you’ll help empower young people to thrive socially, personally, and practically.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver a holistic youth work programme tailored to local needs, ensuring inclusivity, engagement, and positive outcomes for participants.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with young people, promoting their social and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff, partners, and the community to create a supportive environment for young people.
  • Identify challenges and opportunities to enhance young people’s wellbeing whilst aligning to our core mission.
  • Assist with risk assessment and safeguarding duties, ensuring a safe space for all involved.
