We are working on behalf of a leading UK law firm to recruit an experienced Transactional Finance Lawyer (8+ PQE) into a specialist guarantees and structured risk finance practice in London.
This is a rare opportunity to join a market-leading team operating at the intersection of banking, insurance, and structured credit, advising global clients on high-value, cross-border transactions. The role
You will join a highly regarded team acting for global insurance clients on the structuring and execution of guarantee and on-demand bond facilities across domestic and international markets.
Key work includes: Facility agreements and related financing documentation Recourse and credit support arrangements Guarantee / on-demand bond drafting and structuring Security and intercreditor arrangements Risk participation and sharing structures LMA-style documentation
You will also gain exposure to credit distress, restructuring scenarios, and claims management, working alongside specialist colleagues across related practice areas.

What you will bring We are seeking an 8+ PQE lawyer currently operating within a Magic Circle, Silver Circle, or top-tier US law firm, with experience in: Banking & finance Structured finance Project finance Or other complex transactional finance disciplines
Exposure to guarantees, bonding, or insurance-linked financing structures would be beneficial but is not essential, with full training provided.
You will be: Commercial and solutions-focused Strong in managing complex transactions Confident building client relationships A collaborative and dependable team player Able to perform well under pressure with high-quality output
