Bar Manager
Bar Manager – Full-Time / Permanent Role
Position:
Bar Manager – Join our dynamic team as the leader behind unforgettable guest experiences across our bars and entertainment venues. Play a pivotal role in shaping exceptional service while supporting your team’s growth and development.
Key Details:
- Contract: Full-Time / Permanent
- Bonus: Up to 10% annual bonus
- Flexibility Required: Evenings, weekends, and holidays
About the Role:
As a Bar Manager, you’ll be central to an energetic Bars team, guiding staff with clear leadership and motivation. Your hands-on approach will ensure high standards are met through performance coaching, problem-solving, and proactive support. Responsibilities include:
- Efficient resource management (budgets, tools, staff scheduling)
- Driving guest satisfaction through continuous improvement and timely issue resolution
- Maintaining company compliance with health, safety, and standards
You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, blending strategic oversight with day-to-day operations to deliver outstanding service.

Guest Experience:
- Prioritise guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, refining service standards, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Train staff to anticipate guest needs and resolve issues calmly and efficiently.
Performance Management:
- Monitor individual and team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct regular reviews.
- Identify development needs and connect them to growth opportunities.
Resource Management:
- Oversee team rostering, budgeting, and supply logistics to optimise efficiency.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure activities align with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and staff training.
Problem-Solving:
- Address challenges proactively—whether operational, staff-related, or guest-driven—to maintain smooth operations.
Training and Development:
- Develop tailored training programs to enhance team skills.
- Mentor high-potential staff for future leadership roles.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience as a Bar Manager, Venue Manager, or similar role in hospitality.
- Strong communication and team dynamics skills to inspire and motivate others.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining precision and adaptability.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, ensuring staff and venue compliance.
- Organisational prowess with budgeting, financial oversight, and supply (Cellar) management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
