We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Manager to lead the team in all our private hire events bar at Tyne Bank Brewery. This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee all aspects of bar service, ensuring smooth daily operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Communicating with clients and staff in a friendly, efficient manner
- Managing staff, including training and development of your team
- Driving revenue and profitability
- Liaising with wedding and events team on a daily/weekly basis to enhance client experience
- Solving problems and handling complaints
- Maintaining a strong control environment to prevent fraud, theft, and legal non-compliance
- Overseeing stock control, ordering to ensure sufficient supplies throughout the event
- Maintaining a clean and organized bar environment
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and hygiene
