Bar Person – Rick Stein Restaurants

At Rick Stein Restaurants, we’re all about fresh seafood, simple cooking done brilliantly, and making every guest feel genuinely welcome. We’re now looking for a friendly and confident Bar Person to join our front-of-house team.

If you love great drinks, enjoy chatting with guests, and take pride in delivering warm, professional service, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing and serving drinks to a high standard, including wines, cocktails, beers, and soft drinks
  • Creating a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere at the bar for every guest
  • Sharing knowledge of our drinks menu, wines, and daily specials
  • Taking orders and processing payments accurately and efficiently
  • Working closely with the restaurant and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service
  • Keeping the bar clean, organised, and well stocked
  • Following all licensing, health & safety, and food hygiene standards

  • A friendly, positive attitude and genuine love of hospitality
  • Previous bar experience or a strong desire to learn
  • Confidence speaking with guests and making recommendations
  • Good attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Ability to work calmly in a busy environment
  • A reliable, team-focused approach
