Receptionist (Part-Time) – Defence Sector
About the Role We’re looking to recruit a friendly and welcoming Receptionist to join our team, providing exceptional service for Defence in a part-time capacity (20 hours per week, on variable shifts).
As our Receptionist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring everyone—both staff and visitors—feels valued and efficiently assisted. Compass Group UK&I invests in its people, encourages individuality, and recognises those who go above and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
- Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors
- Answering all incoming calls in a friendly, professional manner
- Providing comprehensive administrative support across diverse functions
- Managing the ordering and distribution of office supplies
- Keeping the office area neat, tidy and well-maintained
- Representing Compass Group UK&I with a positive brand image

Requirements & Skills
Personal Attributes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisation and prioritisation abilities
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment
- Competency in using Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Entrenched ability to be a great team player
- Strong relationship-building skills with service users at all levels
- Demonstrates exceptional timekeeping and reliability
