Job Ref: 657761 Salary: £12.81 per hour Contract Hours: 25 hours per week Closing Date: 01 July 2026

Key Responsibilities

Your core duties as Bar Staff include:

Customer Service & Sales

  • Taking, preparing, and serving drinks via bar or customer app to specification
  • Delivering meals, checking back with customers, and clearing plates on time
  • Maintaining friendly interactions – greet customers, say thank you, and build rapport

Operational Excellence

  • Promoting events, promotions, and menu items knowledgeably
  • Upholding ’clean as you go’ standards, including:
    • Clearing tables and wiping surfaces
    • Toilet checks
    • Stocking frids and refilling supplies
    • Assisting with glass-washing, floor/beer garden clearing, and other derrière-the-Scène duties

Flexibility & Availability

  • Shifts vary across mornings, evenings, weekends, and late nights to meet pub opening hours.
  • Sample weekly structure (starting from 6:00 AM):
    • Monday to Friday: 6:00 PM – 1:00 AM/2:00 AM
    • Saturday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
    • Sunday: 6:00 PM – 12:30 AM
