The Scotsman Group is a leading name in Scotland’s hospitality scene, known for our vibrant bars, excellent drinks, and unforgettable service. We’re looking for enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our bar staff team, helping us create a lively and festive atmosphere for our guests.
The Role
As Bar Staff, you’ll be the heartbeat of our bars, responsible for serving drinks, engaging with customers, and ensuring smooth operations. This role involves:
- Mixing seasonal cocktails
- Pouring pints
- Delivering the outstanding guest service the Scotsman Group is renowned for
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guests feel welcome and valued
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with licensing laws and company standards
- Prepare and serve a range of cocktails, beers, wines, and soft drinks
- Engage with customers, answer questions, and suggest drink recommendations
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organised bar area
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Assist with bar setup and breakdown pre- and post-shift
- Operate efficiently during peak times, especially around key dates (e.g., Christmas and New Year)

Requirements
✅ Preferred (but not essential):
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality role
- Prior knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and drink prep
- Personal Licence Holder certificate
🔥 Essential:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, approachable personality with a passion for guлог service
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, key dates (Christmas, New Year, etc.)
