Bar Staff Vacancy

Location: The Green Parrott, Perranporth Salary: £12.81 per hour (£13.81/hour for midnight–5:59am shifts) Contract: Variable/guaranteed hours, 18 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Front-of-house operations:
    • Taking and fulfilling drink orders (including via customer app)
    • Serving at the bar with attention to quality
    • Food promotion, delivery, and check-backs
  • Customer service:
    • Friendly interactions— greet, engage, and thank customers
    • Knowledge of promotions, specials, and seasonal offerings
  • Cleanliness & safety:
    • "Clean-as-you-go" standards: clearing tables, wiping worktops, stocking areas
    • Supporting clean-up, food hygiene, and thorough restroom checks as needed
  • Back-of-house support:
    • Restocking, refreshing beer gardens, cleaning glassware and floors
    • Assisting with evening closures and maintaining high tidying standards

About Shifts

  • Pattern: Weekday evenings (Simultaneously 16:00 - 00:30 Monday–Thursday), Saturday nights (until 01:30), Sunday evenings (until 00:30)
  • Flexibility: Enable on- or off-peak work, evenings, weekends, and early shifts.
  • Note: Under-18s may start at £12.48/h (per national minimum guidelines).
